RSNU Permata Lumajang Turns 2: Humanity, Faith, and Care

Lumajang | The 2nd Anniversary celebration of Nahdlatul Ulama Hospital (RSNU) Permata Lumajang marked a strategic momentum to reinforce the direction of health service development based on religious values, humanity, and professionalism.

Supporting this vision, Lumajang Regent Indah Amperawati expressed her appreciation for RSNU’s contributions in improving access to and the quality of healthcare services, particularly in the southern region of East Java.

“RSNU is not merely a symbol of the revival of healthcare services; it is a tangible manifestation of collaboration between Nahdlatul Ulama, the community, and the local government,” Indah said during the commemoration held at RSNU’s courtyard on Sunday (July 13, 2025).

She emphasized that the quality of a hospital is not solely measured by its infrastructure, but by its commitment, trust, and sincere service.
“The success of a hospital is not just about buildings and equipment; it’s about trust and wholehearted service,” she remarked.

RSNU Permata Lumajang was founded on the principles of Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah, offering inclusive services that reach all levels of society. In just two years, RSNU has grown into a respected community-based religious hospital.

Regent Indah also highlighted the strategic roles played by various stakeholders, including religious leaders, NU organizations, volunteers, and the local government. According to her, this collaboration is the key to RSNU’s growth and sustainability.

The 2nd Anniversary celebration was more than just a ceremonial event; it also featured social activities such as blood donation drives, free health check-ups, nutrition consultations, and an MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) bazaar. These activities reaffirm RSNU’s commitment not only to medical services but also to community empowerment.

Bunda Indah encouraged all parties to continue building RSNU as a center of healthcare excellence grounded in compassion and values.
“We must build a hospital that the people long for because of its humane and heartfelt services,” she said.

RSNU continues to develop its leading services, including specialist clinics, a 24-hour emergency unit, integrated inpatient care, and a spiritual approach to treatment. In her closing remarks, Bunda Indah expressed her hope that RSNU would continue to shine as a beacon of hope for the community.

“Happy 2nd Anniversary to RSNU Permata Lumajang. Let’s build a hospital that is healthy physically, socially, and spiritually,” she concluded.(*)
